Affiliate disclosure.
Court data on this site is never for sale — no venue, city, or club can pay for placement, rank, or a badge.
Some links on the Paddles page and in paddle quiz results are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. The disclosure sits with the links themselves, never in a footnote.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Affiliate relationships never influence which paddles appear, how they're described, or how the quiz scores them. The quiz matches you to paddles based on your answers only.
What's independent
Everything about where to play. Court and city pages, the map, community rankings, and the directory are researched against each city's own recreation department pages. No venue pays to be listed, ranked higher, or featured — and no affiliate relationship changes any of it.
What may earn a commission
Only paddle and gear links, on the Paddles page and in the paddle quiz results. When you buy a paddle or gear through one of those links, the retailer or brand may pay us a referral commission. You pay the same price either way.
How affiliate links work
Plain-English, the way the FTC asks sites to explain it.
- An affiliate link carries a code that tells the retailer or brand the visit came from us. If you buy, they pay us a percentage of the sale.
- It costs you nothing extra. The price is the same as going to the retailer directly, and you're free to do that instead.
- Affiliate links open in a new tab and are marked
rel="sponsored"so search engines and browsers can see them for what they are. - We label them at the point of use — you'll see a short "we may earn a commission" note next to buy links, not buried in fine print.
- A recommendation is never for sale. Paddle picks come from the quiz's fit logic and specs, not from which program pays the most. If we can't honestly recommend something, it isn't listed.
Why we do it this way
Court research takes real time to keep current, and affiliate commissions on gear are what let it stay free and ad-free. Keeping the money strictly on the gear side is how the court data stays trustworthy.
The firewall
No affiliate commission, retailer, or brand has any influence on which courts we list, how they're rated, or where they rank. Community rankings come from visitor votes on /rankings. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed here first.
This complements our privacy policy, which covers cookies and the data affiliate programs may set once you reach a retailer's site.
