These aren't dedicated pickleball courts — the city striped 6 pickleball lines onto 2 of Hall Memorial Park's 4 tennis courts under a "temporary" one-year pilot program that began in August 2022. Four of the six lines are shared-use with tennis (pickleball gets priority, but tennis can still play on them); the other two are pickleball-exclusive. Whether the pilot becomes permanent is still unresolved — a May 2025 city council meeting left Hall's future undecided while acting on other locations, and roughly 200 regular tennis users have organized opposition to the conversion. Free, walk-up, no reservations.
