Where to play
This program's address is sometimes listed as 1333 Park Ave, but that's actually Emeryville City Hall — the gym itself is at 1100 47th St, inside the Emeryville Center of Community Life, a joint city/school campus. The map pin here is borrowed from the adjacent pool building on the same block, so treat it as approximate. Portable nets and lines go up for scheduled sessions only, not a permanent pickleball setup — and access is registration-gated, not a walk-up game.
- Pickleball runs Saturdays 12:30–6:30pm only, 18+, registration required — book through rec.us. Not offered any other day of the week.
- $6 resident / $7 non-resident per drop-in session (discounted rate for seniors 50+); a 10-visit pass runs $49 resident / $55 non-resident.
- Play pauses periodically — the city's page listed a hiatus with sessions resuming June 20, 2026. Confirm the current schedule before visiting.
- A separate facility at 4230 Hubbard St (formerly East Bay Badminton) still shows up as an active pickleball venue in some listings — it closed in 2024, and the badminton club now operating there does not offer pickleball. Don't be misled by that listing.
